Every monkey with a DSLR thinks he’s a photographer. You
must have heard this and it is, indeed, true to some extent. For some people
photography is hobby, for some it’s passion and for some it’s a way to earn.
Everyone has the right to buy a DSLR and think that he or she is a
photographer, no matter, amateur, master or professional. It’s relatively easy
to acquaint yourself with the controls of DSLR and fundamentals of digital
photography but there are some skills and techniques which can only be learn
with experience.
Therefore, professionals from Frameboxx Pune, today,
are giving some photography tips. Have a look!
·
Use full stops for ISO. When you need to work
quickly, it can be useful to activate this option – when you change the ISO,
you’ll know that each click of the wheel works out as a full stop of
adjustment.
·
Shoot with three in mind. Three really is the
magic number when photography is concerned. When composing shots, lens with
three elements balance pictures. You’ll often find that 3people shot in a group
or three colours in a still life produce more interesting images as compared to
two or four.
·
Keep filters close. Filters are one of those
accessories that you will only need to buy once or twice, so it’s worth not
saving bucks in this area. Using a slot-in filler system such as the ones
offered by LEE Filters and Cokin can be more flexible than a circular filter
system.
·
Remove protective filters at night. When you’re
shooting at night, it’s worth removing any UV or Skylight filters you have, in
order to protect the front element of the lens.
·
Block the viewfinder. When you’re shooting long
exposures with a strong ND filter or you’re using the self-timer or firing the
camera remotely, then it’s worth blocking the viewfinder.
Apply these tips in your photography and you will be no more
a monkey with DSLR. Frameboxx
